Dr. John Harrington, a man of science and rationality, has always struggled with faith. But when a mysterious patient known only as Peter walks through the doors of Pioneer State Mental Hospital and clams to be the the Son of God, Dr. Harrington's world changes forever.
Peter's piercing stare and haunting visions penetrate deep into Harrington's mind. The more he tries to prove Peter’s claim to be false, the more he begins to question his own beliefs and everything he's ever known. As Harrington probes deeper into Peter's psyche, it is the depths of his own psyche that he is really exploring. Slowly, the roles of doctor and patient reverse and Harrington is forced to confront some terrifying demons of his own.
